Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of welding experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Welding certifications preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to set up, adjust and maintain welding machines.
• Must pass a welding certification test.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Executes routine welding tasks on HVAC units.
• Set up and maintain welding machines (tip, liner, etc.).
• Weld vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Inspect welds for cracks, burn-through and spatter.
• Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools; grind and clean as required.
• Stay current in TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on equipment.
• Follow hazardous waste disposal program and fire prevention procedures.
