AAON, Inc. is seeking a Welder I to perform routine welding tasks on production components, ensuring quality welds and safe operations on the manufacturing floor. You will learn to operate welding equipment, prepare materials, and help maintain an organized, compliant work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may prefer prior welding or manufacturing experience. This is an on-site position with potential for training and growth within a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; 0+ years in welding or related field, or any combination of education and experience providing equivalent background.
• Prior welding or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine welding tasks on production components to meet established standards.
• Operate welding equipment for tack welds and continuous welds as required by production specs.
• Prepare materials using cutting tools and equipment for welding operations.
• Grind and fit metal components using hand and power tools.
• Select materials and settings to support welding processes.
• Inspect welds for quality and defects.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with material preparation and movement within the work area.
• Support other production activities within the welding area as needed.
• Follow standard work instructions and participate in training opportunities.
• Communicate issues to supervisors for resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
