Job summary

Wabash is seeking skilled Welders to join our manufacturing team in Indiana. You will weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using MIG or TIG processes, read engineering prints, and adhere to quality standards.

Training is provided through our Weld School if needed, with emphasis on safety and production efficiency. Applicants must pass weld tests and respirator fit tests; drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass Weld Tests associated with product line.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Basic reading, writing, math & verbal skill.
• Capable of following and understanding engineering prints, specifications & instructions.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• MIG and/or TIG weld carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel to quality standards.
• Read engineering prints and weld symbols and follow specs.
• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Work at heights of 15-20 ft and maneuver in tight spaces.
