Job summary

Wabash is seeking welders to join our team to weld carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using MIG and TIG processes. You will read engineering prints, follow specifications, and perform welding with a focus on safety, quality, and delivery. Training is provided through in-house programs to qualify for weld tests.

Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screens and respirator fit tests. Opportunities exist for advancement and cross-department experience within a safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass Weld Tests associated with product line prior to welding in production.
• Must pass respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Weld Carbon Steel / Aluminum / Stainless Steel MIG and/or TIG to quality standards.
• Read engineering prints and weld symbols and follow specifications.
• Perform basic operator preventative maintenance for welding equipment.
• Work in tight and small spaces and at heights of 15–20 ft.
• Support other departments as needed.
• Wear required PPE (safety shoes, gloves, eyewear, respirators, hearing protection).
• Adhere to safety policies and practices.
