Job summary

Wabash in New Lisbon, Wisconsin is seeking skilled Welders to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components, read engineering prints, and follow precise specifications to produce high-quality subassemblies.

Candidates must pass weld tests or certification tests; training through our Weld School is available. The role emphasizes safety, PPE, and teamwork, with benefits including insurance and 401k.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass Weld Tests associated with product line prior to welding in production.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Basic reading, writing, math and verbal skill.
• Capable of following and understanding engineering prints, specifications and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve our performance in Safety, Quality, and Delivery.
• Weld carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to meet quality standards.
• Read engineering prints and weld symbols and follow specifications.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
• Work at heights of 15-20 ft. when required.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety policies and practices.
