Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Welder in Wisconsin to support fabrication across carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components. You will read engineering prints, perform MIG/TIG welding, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Position includes on-the-job training through Weld School when needed, with emphasis on completing tests to qualify for production work and maintaining equipment safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass Weld Tests associated with product line prior to welding in production.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Basic reading, writing, math and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality, and delivery.
• Weld carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to quality standards.
• Read engineering prints and weld symbols; follow specifications.
• Perform basic operator maintenance on welding equipment.
• Work in tight spaces and at heights; comply with PPE requirements.
