Job summary

Wabash is seeking a welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to exacting specifications using MIG or TIG processes.

The role requires reading engineering prints and following detailed instructions, with in-house weld tests as part of the process. You will perform basic equipment maintenance, operate safely in a high-demand production environment, and comply with PPE and site safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass Weld Tests for product line before welding in production.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Basic reading, writing, math & verbal skills.
• Capable of following and understanding engineering prints, specifications & instructions.

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality, and delivery performance.
• Weld carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel to quality standards (MIG/TIG).
• Read engineering prints and weld symbols; follow specifications.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
