Job summary

Wieland is hiring a Team Leader - Welding in Delaware, OH to drive daily production, ensure safety, and coach welders to pass certifications. This on-site role reports to the Production Manager and requires strong leadership and ASME code knowledge.

The position runs on 2nd shift, 4:00pm-2:30am, with a starting pay of $37.00 per hour plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential. Training on 1st shift may occur briefly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ASME Code standards and procedures.
• Minimum 5 years of code welding experience.
• Proven leadership capabilities and team supervision.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare welders to pass weld certifications.
• Set and obtain daily production goals.
• Assist employees with process issues.
• Adjust manpower to meet goals and cross-train.
• Fill in when needed to meet goals.
• Ensure product meets quality standards.
• Evaluate employee performance against goals.
