Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Delaware, OH is hiring a Team Leader - Welding for on-site operations on the 2nd shift. Starting pay is $37.00 per hour, with a $0.75/hr shift differential. Training on 1st shift during a 2–4 week period, with bi-weekly pay scheduling.

The role collaborates with the Production Manager to meet daily goals, enforce safety guidelines, and train staff on fabrication processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and cross-training across teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ASME Code.
• Minimum 5 years code welding experience.
• Demonstrate leadership ability.
• Able to perform each essential task satisfactorily.
• Must be able to work with all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare welders to pass weld certifications.
• Set and obtain daily goals to meet production requirements.
• Assist employees with process issues.
• Adjust manpower to meet goals and cross-train processes.
• Fill in when needed to meet goals.
• Ensure product meets quality standards.
• Evaluate employee performance based on quality and production goals.
