Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Weld Process Specialist in Brewton, AL for a hands-on role supporting airgas welding processes and applications. You will collaborate with an Advanced Fabrication Specialist, travel to customer sites, and develop expertise to drive sales and cost-saving opportunities.

The role requires welding industry experience, a demonstrates ability to communicate with customers, and a willingness to travel 50%–60%.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years in the welding industry.
• AWS Certified Welding Sales Representative (CWSR).
• Associate Degree Welding (AAS), Military Weld training, or Bachelor's degree (Engineering) or equivalent.
• Established track record as a producer may supersede educational requirements.
• Strong interest in welding processes and applications.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Ability to travel overnight 50%–60%.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Sell Airgas Welding Processes and Welding Applications.
• Travel with Advanced Fabrication Specialist to understand customer needs and solutions.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of Airgas Welding Processes to match customer needs with products and services.
• Lead or support account development and win new business.
• Conduct Welding Efficiency Analysis and cost-reduction opportunities for accounts.
