Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking an Outside Sales Rep to grow welding product sales across business and industrial customers in the Louisiana area. The role involves visiting customers at their location or across the territory, presenting product benefits, and closing orders.

The position requires travel within the assigned territory, strong relationship building with purchasing contacts, and capability to coordinate customer training while maintaining accurate sales data and reports.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Welding Technology or related field from two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training or; Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Sells products for MATHESON to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom or customer's place of business by performing the following duties.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talks with customers on sales floor or by phone.
• Coordinates customer training.
• Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
• Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
