Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a dynamic sales professional to sell welding products to business and industrial customers. You will travel the territory, call on regular and prospective customers, demonstrate products, and prepare quotes and contracts.

You will coordinate customer training, enter new data, and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts while supporting inside sales and completing inventories. Valid driver's license and hazmat training required.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting safety rules and operating manuals.
• Writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Speaking effectively before groups of customers, clients, vendors, managers or employees.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Welding Technology or related field.
• 1 year or less of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sells products to business and industrial establishments or individuals.
• Travels territory to call on customers to solicit orders.
• Demonstrates products and emphasizes features.
• Quotes prices and terms, and prepares sales contracts.
• Maintains customer data and coordinates training.
• Supports inside sales and inventory processes.
• Attends trade shows and assists with collections as needed.
