Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson in Bangor, ME, seeks an experienced sales professional to represent welding products to business and industrial customers. You will travel your territory, call on regular and prospective customers, demonstrate products, quote prices, and prepare contracts.

You will build relationships with purchasing contacts, coordinate customer training, manage data entry, and support inside and route sales teams. Frequent travel and a full-time schedule are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Compiles lists of prospective customers and generates sales leads.
• Travels within the assigned territory to meet customers and solicit orders.
• Displays or demonstrates products and emphasizes salable features.
• Quotes prices and terms and prepares sales contracts.
• Assists in entering new customer data and maintaining records.
• Coordinates customer training and supports sales teams.
• Assists in collecting outstanding balances and performing inventories.
• Attends trade shows and supports inside sales when needed.
