Job summary

Henderson Group in Wyoming is seeking a Welding & Fabrication Instructor to lead hands-on training for the next generation of tradespeople in the Rocky Mountain region. You will teach welding techniques, operate and demonstrate CNC plasma tables and cutters, mentor students, and help develop curriculum while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

7+ years of welding and fabrication experience.
Strong blueprint reading and cutting techniques.
Familiarity with CNC and digital shop tools or willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and team orientation.
Industry certifications (AWS, API) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Teach welding techniques (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW) through lectures and hands-on shop instruction.
Demonstrate equipment use including CNC plasma tables and automated cutters.
Support students with shop safety, measuring, layout, and cutting.
Utilize grading software and collaborate on curriculum development and projects.
