Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with welding codes (AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API 1104).
• Ability to read drawings and weld symbols; root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify welding procedures for new products and processes.
• Provide technical support to production welding operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis of welding defects and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and recommend welding equipment, technologies, and materials.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure weldability and manufacturability.
