Job summary

Qualifications
- Five years of experience in construction welding inspections and two years in coatings and bolting inspections.
- AWS CWI certification required; NACE/SSPC and ASNT qualifications preferred.
- Experience with QA/QC processes and government/industrial construction standards.
Responsibilities
- Observe, inspect, and report on construction projects at federal facilities for workmanship and materials compliance.
- Perform welding inspections for steel fabrication and coating inspections for coating systems.
- Review QA and safety plans and ensure contractor adherence.
- Deliver change orders, RFIs, and submittals; monitor the three-phase inspection process.
- Provide surveillance at sites and assist owners in problem resolution.
