Accura Engineering is seeking a Construction Inspector for Welding and Coating at facilities in the Columbus area. The role requires inspection and reporting on workmanship, materials, installation, and construction methods, focusing on welding and coatings in steel fabrication.

Qualified candidates hold an AWS CWI/IWE or equivalent, NDT per ASNT, NACE/SSPC coating inspection credentials, and experience with EM 385-1-1 safety standards. US citizenship and federal background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 5 years of construction welding inspections experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe, inspect, and report on construction projects at federal facilities for workmanship, materials, installation, and methods.
• Perform welding inspections related to steel fabrication.
• Include storage, handling, cutting, bending, machining, fit-up, surface prep, welding, bolting, erection, and coatings.
