Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Welding & Automation Specialist - West to grow rental, lease and sales of Red D Arc Specialty Products, including subarc systems, positioners, manipulators, turning rolls, heat treating equipment and related welding gear.

You will follow up on leads, present proposals, prepare quotes, generate conceptual Hard Automation drawings, expand sales channels, work with end users and our field team, perform onsite setups, provide exceptional service and represent Airgas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Greater than five years sales experience in Weld Process Sales.
• Strong background in welding processes with emphasis on automation and SAW.
• Certifications such as CWI, CWE, CRAW, CWS, NCCER instructor.

Responsibilities

• Grow rental, lease and sales of Red D Arc Specialty Products, including hard automation equipment.
• Follow up on sales leads, make presentations, and prepare quotes.
• Produce conceptual Hard Automation application drawings and expand sales channels.
• Work with end user customers and field sales team to provide solutions.
• Coordinate onsite setup of equipment and demonstrations.
• Maintain accurate reports, business plans and regional forecasts.
