Job summary

nVenia is seeking a Welder II to join our manufacturing team in Wood Dale, Illinois. You will perform MIG or TIG welds, read and interpret moderately complex blueprints, and adjust parameters to ensure weld quality while maintaining safety standards and production efficiency.

Responsibilities include simple to intermediate weld setups, assisting in training Welder I employees, and supporting workflow through fit-up, staging, and part preparation in a fast-paced packaging equipment environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of welding experience.
• Proficiency in MIG or TIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience adjusting welding parameters for quality control.
• Ability to train or assist Welder I employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple to intermediate weld setups independently.
• Produce quality welds in MIG or TIG processes.
• Interpret drawings and welding requirements with accuracy.
• Adjust amperage, voltage, and gas flow for proper welds.
• Troubleshoot minor weld defects and support workflow.
