Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a Welder I to support the production line with routine welding tasks, material prep, and quality checks. You will operate welding equipment, perform tack and continuous welds, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following established procedures.

This on-site role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a manufacturing environment, with a base wage of $21.50 per hour and a path to develop foundational welding skills under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0+ years welding/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine welding tasks on production components, ensuring weld quality meets established standards.
• Operate welding equipment to complete tack welds and continuous welds as required by production specifications.
• Use cutting tools and equipment to prepare materials and perform basic metal cutting operations.
• Utilize hand and power tools to grind, fit, and prepare metal components for welding.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and consistency and identify basic defects.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling equipment and materials.
