Job summary

Aerotek in Gadsden, AL seeks a Welder/Fitter to perform fabrication in an industrial shop, reading blueprints and fitting and welding (MIG) to support production and fabrication projects. You will use hand and power tools, inspect work for quality, and collaborate with team to meet schedules.

The position is contract to hire with onsite work in Gadsden, AL, paying $22.00-$25.00/hr and offering medical, dental & vision, 401(k) and other benefits.

Qualifications

  • 13 years of fitting experience in a fabrication or industrial environment.
  • 13 years of experience reading and working from blueprints.
  • 13 years of experience using hand and power tools in a production or industrial setting.
  • 13 years of experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to perform MIG welding or willingness to learn MIG welding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail when measuring, cutting, and assembling components.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operate tools and equipment responsibly.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
