Shift Details

2nd shift 4pm - 2am M-F, Sat as needed

Responsibilities and Duties

• Complete AWS certification 3G test using FCAW (Flux Core – Mig Welding) for materials from 1/8 inch to unlimited thickness.
• Read blueprints using GIT tolerances and AWS weld symbols.
• Operate overhead cranes with proper rigging, forklifts, and drill presses.
• Understand AWS requirements for weld sizes, multiple passes, pre-heating, and weld penetration.
• Use oxy-fuel torches to cut structural members up to 1” thick.
• Fabricate small structures from drawings using layout and fabrication tools with minimal supervision.
• Own tools: welding hood, gloves, framing square, torpedo level, tape measure, hammer, punch, side cutters.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
• Capable of lifting 45 pounds safely.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 3-5 years of welding experience or an Associate’s Degree in welding.
