1st/2nd shift Welding Robot Operator $16.50-$22.00 plus/hr. DOE

Join us at Anchor Fabrication LLC as a Welding Robot Operator for 1st/2nd shifts, with competitive pay ranging from $16.50 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Position Overview

The Robot Operator's role involves setting up and operating robotic welders to meet or exceed customer specifications. This includes reading blueprints, creating parts and assemblies, and maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. This position is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting the company's growth.

Responsibilities
  • Locate and ensure correct material delivery to the work center
  • Learn and apply robot operation procedures
  • Implement safety policies and follow WPS
  • Assist and learn from higher-level robot operators
  • Maintain proper machine functioning
  • Deliver correct nesting programs and match them with work orders
  • Apply correct gases, speeds, and consumables
  • Accurately project work order completion
  • Stage jobs after completion
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Welding knowledge or experience
  • Knowledge of 6S
  • Punctuality and dependability
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred
Physical and Environment Requirements

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand for prolonged periods, and perform bending, kneeling, and stooping. Work is performed in a fabrication shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, and chemicals. Physical weld testing on-site must be acceptable.
