Job summary

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role focuses on MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, with responsibility for reading blueprints and performing weld tests.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years welding experience, can read tape measures, work at heights on ladders or lifts, and be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. We offer a sign-on bonus and weekly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• MIG, Flux Core, TIG Welding: Perform welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components with strong, precise welds.
• Structural & Sheet Metal Welding: Weld heavy tubing and 14 gauge sheet metal for structural and plenum work.
• Fabrication: Assist in fabricating custom components with accurate dimensions.
• Blueprint & Tape Measure Reading: Read blueprints and measure materials precisely.
• Work at Heights: Use platform ladders and scissor lifts to weld at elevated areas.

Overview

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Welders/Fabricators to join our team. This position will focus primarily on MIG, Flux Core, & TIG welding (depending on department) and requires proficiency in welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience welding/fabricating, be required to perform weld tests, read tape measures, and work at heights on platform ladders and scissor lifts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• MIG, Flux Core, TIG Welding: Perform MIG/Flux Core/TIG welding, primarily on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components, ensuring strong and precise welds.
• Structural & Sheet Metal Welding: Weld heavy tubing and sheet metal (14 gauge), including structural and plenum work.
• Fabrication: Assist in the fabrication of custom components, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and design specifications.
• Blueprint & Tape Measure Reading: Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine welding requirements; accurately measure and cut materials using tape measures.
• Work at Heights: Safely operate platform ladders and scissor lifts to perform welding tasks in elevated work areas.
