G&W Electric is hiring a Material Handler I for the Bolingbrook, IL area. Responsibilities include unloading and moving materials, processing inventory in the G&W system, and supporting manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes safe handling, reading Bills of Materials, and basic computer skills, with a preference for 0–1 years in a manufacturing setting and prior warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 0–1 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Able to safely use pallet jacks and other manual moving equipment.
• Able to read and interpret Bills of Material.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively to support manufacturing processes.
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials according to routing and orders.
• Perform inventory transactions in the G&W business system.
• Conduct bin maintenance and report shortages or damaged material.
• Fill orders from stock and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Release and maintain status of Kanbans and report late orders.
• Conduct cycle counts as requested.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
