Job summary

G&W Electric Co in Bolingbrook, IL, is seeking a Material Handler II for a 2:30pm to 11:00pm shift. You will move materials between the cells and warehouse, verify quantities and part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in the company system.

You will unload, store, and deliver materials, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and conduct cycle counts. A high school diploma is required, with forklift certification and prior warehousing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification and ability to operate PIT equipment safely.
• Must read and interpret Bills of Materials.
• 1–3 years experience in manufacturing/warehousing preferred.
• 3–5 years PIT (Power Industrial Truck) experience or forklift operation.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between cells, departments and the central warehouse.
• Unload incoming materials; check quantities and part numbers.
• Perform inventory transactions in the business system and conduct cycle counts.
• Fill orders and deliver to designated cells; load/unload trucks.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other PIT equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow procedures.
