Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. is seeking an electrician to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, industrial equipment, and fixtures in our Spartanburg, SC plant.

The role requires diagnosing malfunctions, following codes, and ensuring safety with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. The candidate will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, lead apprentices, and read blueprints to meet building and safety requirements, on a 3rd shift

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform job duties.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills for electrical malfunctions.
• Experience with electrical control systems and PLCs with guidance.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and locate causes using test equipment.
• Inspect and ensure compliance with local and national codes.
• Direct and train apprentices in installation and maintenance tasks.
• Plan layouts based on blueprints and safety codes.
