Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years leadership or 10 years welding experience.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG and spot welding.
• Able to read and follow blueprints and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Weld Department to ensure procedures are followed.
• Train and mentor employees in Weld Dept.
• Perform process audits with Quality Team.
• Oversee workflow to meet schedules and lean metrics.
• Maintain in-process checks and collaborate with Quality.
• Complete weekly cycle counts and re-checks.
• Lead continuous improvements in work instructions and TPM.
• Maintain standard work sheets and 5S compliance.
• Participate in inventory activities and labeling.
• Report labor for Shop Floor activities.
• Enforce safety rules and PPE.
