The ideal candidate has 4–7+ years of welding experience with 1–2+ years in a lead role, strong leadership, and a focus on safety and process improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of total welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• 1-2+ years of proven experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of blueprints, WPS, and material handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks and priorities to Welders to meet production schedules.
• Support task time and maintain smooth workflow across the welding team.
• Train and coach Welders on proper processes, techniques, and safety practices.
• Conduct initial quality checks of welds before QA inspection.
• Communicate effectively with Supervisors and other departments regarding production and quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to blueprints, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and proper material handling.
