Qualifications

  • Must have a CWI certification.
  • Minimum four (4) years of shop-floor experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to measure, compare and perform shop calculations to ensure specs are met.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve shop-floor problems.
  • Experience leading and motivating shop-floor staff to meet deadlines and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities of MIG Welders/fabricators and delegate tasks.
  • Train and motivate staff to meet demanding manufacturing requirements and schedules.
  • Assist with tasks as necessary to complete assignments.
  • Test products/equipment for defects/malfunctions.
  • Work in a safe manner.
  • Communicate changes and updates to employees on processes and procedures.
