Job summary

Summa Health Akron City Campus seeks a Patient Access Liaison I for the Weight Management Institute. You will be the first contact for new patients, schedule appointments, and assist established patients with pre-op requirements.

You will collect payments and review charts to support smooth visits. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience in scheduling, front desk, or insurance verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in scheduling, phone triage, patient check-in, or insurance verification preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as initial contact for new Weight Management Institute patients.
• Schedules appointments and consults for established patients.
• Collects payments and processes receipts; reviews charts.
• Provides high level of customer service to present a positive Summa Health impression.
