Summa Health Akron City Campus seeks a Patient Access Liaison I for the Weight Management Institute. You will be the first contact for new patients, schedule appointments, and assist established patients with pre-op requirements.

Summary: Acts as initial contact for new Weight Management Institute (WMI) patients; Schedules appointments and consults for established patients of the WMI. Collects payments and processes receipts; Reviews charts and assists patients in completing all pre-op requirements. Masters responsibilities of one team (e.g., New Patient, Front Desk). Provides a high level of customer service to present a positive impression of Summa Health.
Formal Education Required: High school diploma/GED required.
Experience and Training Required: One (1) year experience preferred performing one or more of the following duties: scheduling, phone triage, patient check-in, patient registration, insurance verification, pre-certification, or medical assisting.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
