GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for the Weekend 3rd Shift to oversee dock operations, coordinate trailer movements, and lead safe yard activities.

You will partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to ensure timely movement of trailers and adherence to process guidelines. The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, accountability, and customer service excellence in a dynamic, outdoor work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation‑related environment.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast‑paced operation.
• Working knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and across varied terrain.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in daily customer‑facing and cross‑functional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support dock‑related equipment as required.
• Serve as the primary contact for all loading/unloading dock activities and coordinate trailer movements.
• Manage and sequence trailer docking, release, and yard flow per safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate when unsafe conditions are identified, following procedures.
• Collaborate daily with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams to prioritize tasks.
