GXO Logistics, Inc. in Council Bluffs is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for Weekend 1st Shift (Fri–Mon, 6:00am–4:30pm).

You will be the primary point of contact for dock activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely movement of trailers in and out of the facility, while partnering with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to execute daily dock tasks with accountability and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, dock, yard, or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Familiarity with trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.

Responsabilités

• Champion operation safety and support of dock-related equipment.
• Serve as primary point of contact for loading/unloading dock activities and coordinate trailer movements.
• Manage and sequence trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe conditions.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customer teams daily.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with guidelines, safety standards and SWIs.
