GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for weekend 3rd shift at our Texas facility. The role leads dock operations, coordinates trailer movements, and partners with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to ensure safe and timely yard flow.

The position requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to process and safety standards in a dynamic distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or dock operations.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of trailer docking and yard safety standards.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and dock equipment support.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate hazards.
• Collaborate with operations, transportation, and customer teams daily.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities follow process guidelines and SWIs.
• Support 7S workplace standards.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify risks.
• Use Office and Google tools to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage to site leadership as needed.
