GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator to oversee dock activities, ensure safe trailer movements, and coordinate with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams.

The role emphasizes accountability, operational discipline, and customer service excellence across a fast-paced environment. You'll lead daily dock activities, monitor conditions, and enforce safety procedures while supporting site leadership and peers.

Formación

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard or transportation environments.
• Proven ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain.
• Ability to follow defined safety processes and escalation protocols.
• Strong communication for daily customer-facing and cross-functional interactions.

Responsabilidades

• Champion operation safety and support dock-related equipment as needed.
• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage dock sequencing, release, and yard flow with attention to safety.
• Monitor dock conditions and apply stop-work authority when unsafe.
• Partner with site operations, transportation, yard services, and customers.
• Maintain professional communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with guidelines and safety standards.
• Support dock/yard organization following 7S standards.
• Perform regular visual inspections to identify risks and delays.
• Use Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage and operational support to site leadership and peers.
