Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Teller to join our retail branch team. You will handle complex and standard transactions, educate clients on digital banking options, and contribute to a smooth, welcoming experience for all customers.

Responsibilities include supporting sales outreach, following IRM principles to tailor solutions, maintaining accuracy with branch procedures, and assisting with new accounts while upholding risk controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and completing complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and compliance.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and issue resolution.
