Job summary

Contract Transport Services is seeking a Weekend Transportation Specialist in Green Bay, WI. You will handle shipment inquiries, track orders, resolve delivery issues, and provide estimated arrival times, acting as the liaison between customers and the company throughout the delivery process.

The role emphasizes safety, FMCSR and DOT compliance, plus proactive communication with drivers and customers to ensure on-time performance. Schedule includes on-call weekends and in-office hours.

Overview

As a Weekend Transportation Specialist at Contract Transport Services, you will handle customer inquiries related to shipments, track orders, resolve delivery issues, provide estimated arrival times, address complaints, coordinate with customers, and act as the middle person between the customers and the company throughout the delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary customer contact for shipment-related inquiries.
• Track freight from pickup through delivery and provide proactive updates.
• Process and monitor EDI transactions accurately and timely.
• Identify and communicate service issues, delays, or risks immediately.
• Coordinate with drivers and customers to resolve issues.
• Monitor and report on-time pickups and delivery performance.

Schedule

On call Friday 6:00 PM – Sunday 10:00 PM

In Office 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Sunday
