Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Tele RN with ICU/Telemetry/Step Down experience for a full-time role at a small-format hospital. The position requires weekend day shifts (Fri, Sat and Sun, 7am–7pm) with a night/weekend differential.

You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care across high-acuity patients in a fast-paced setting. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Telemetry/ICU, strong cardiac skills and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or 2+ years in related healthcare positions, required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English; written and oral communication.
• Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide proficient, age-specific nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician's orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in patient care.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab tests per policies and procedures (COLA/CLIA).
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfer procedures.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures and assist as needed for procedures.
• Comply with state Board of Nursing standards and hospital policies.
