Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced Tele RN/ICU/Step Down nurse for the night/weekend shift at a 20-bed small-format hospital. You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care as part of a high-acuity team.

Ideal candidates have telemetry/ICU experience, strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and the ability to support advanced respiratory therapies. Weekend diff and a $20,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for high-acuity inpatient patients in a fast paced setting.
• Ability to manage cardiac, hypertensive and insulin infusions with rhythm interpretation.
• Experience supporting advanced respiratory therapies (BiPAP, high-flow).
• Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and telemedicine/virtual platforms.
• Willingness to care for critically ill patients and support stabilization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing care using advanced clinical knowledge.
• Follow physician orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information and records.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures and aseptic technique.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers; prepare equipment and supplies.
• Assist with procedures and ensure compliance with state nursing practice standards.
• Handle care per hospital policies and applicable nursing standards.
