Job summary

AutoStore in the United States is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide expert troubleshooting and partner support. This weekend role requires on-site presence, hands-on problem solving, and proactive service to keep systems running.

You will respond to incidents, provide on-site support at trade shows, train partners, contribute to the knowledge base, and collaborate with Sales and R&D. Expect 10–20% travel and participation in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on mechanical or electrical technical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field (extensive experience may substitute).
• Ability to quickly master complex technical systems.
• Strong problem-solving and customer training skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incident, spare part, warranty, delivery quality, and robot repair cases.
• Provide on-site support to partners and at trade shows as needed.
• Attend weekly Technical Support Specialist meetings and contribute insights.
• Meet personal and team KPIs for efficient support delivery.
• Contribute to the knowledge base with troubleshooting articles.
• Serve as an instructor in AutoStore Academy trainings.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D and other teams for readiness and feedback.
• Foster trusted relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Work weekend shifts and participate in on-call rotation.
• Expect to travel 10–20% of the time.
