Job summary

West Village Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking an organized Staffing Coordinator for weekend shifts. The role focuses on managing weekend staffing operations to ensure appropriate clinical coverage and serves as the main communication link between nursing staff, leadership, and scheduling.

The position is part-time with a consistent weekend schedule (Sat & Sun). CNA certification is required; prior staffing, scheduling, or healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Active South Carolina CNA certification in good standing required.
• Experience in staffing, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare is preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience with staffing software and PCC preferred.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain nursing schedules and staffing assignments.
• Coordinate coverage for call-outs and open shifts.
• Communicate staffing needs with nursing leadership and facility management.
• Contact staff regarding scheduling needs and replacement coverage.
• Assist with tracking attendance, call-outs, and schedule changes.
• Ensure staffing levels meet facility and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and reports; support onboarding needs as appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with employees regarding staffing and scheduling matters.
• Assist with administrative duties related to staffing and workforce management.
