Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking skilled Repair & Overhaul Technicians for our Loves Park, IL campus. Positions run on AWS weekends (Fri-Sun, 3:00am-3:30pm) with first-shift training Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm for two weeks.

Roles involve teardown, assembly, test of servo valves, actuators, fuel meters, and pumps, with opportunities for growth and internal development. Initial training aligns with plant standards; candidates should be ready for flexible schedules during training and possess strong mechanical

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Proficient with hand tools and basic equipment.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and prints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication within team.

Responsibilities

• Teardown, Assembly and Test Product following documented SOPs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to determine work scope and analysis.
• Perform inspections and tests; record data per standards.
• Keep workstations clean and tool storage organized (5S).
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks.
• Level II: Troubleshoot and support training for other members.
• Assist in improving standard work and processes.
• Collaborate across teams to meet production goals.
• Provide input for data-driven improvements.
• Support daily management system and lean initiatives.
