Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing in Colorado Springs is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our CMF team supporting DoD programs. This role oversees production from raw materials to finished products and works with MES (Solumina), including mBOMs, routings, and process documentation.

The candidate should have 6+ years in manufacturing/assembly, experience with CNC, GD&T, ERP/MES/PLM, and strong collaboration with engineering, QA, and operations. Weekend shift: Fri–Sun 6AM–6PM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or ISE with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in collaborative engineering environments with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with CNC Mill/Lathe machining, ISO9001/AS9100, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Implement procedures to transform raw materials into finished products efficiently.
• Use Solumina MES to track, monitor, and control manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency.
• Generate and maintain Manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOMs) and routings.
• Plan production flow, coordinate with Planning & Production Control, and manage changes.
