Job summary

You will coordinate with quality, manufacturing engineering, and production control to optimize flow and implement 5S practices.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, prior supervisory experience, and familiarity with GD&T, ERP/MRP systems, and Deltek Costpoint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years manufacturing experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with precision machining and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and GD&T concepts.
• Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of machinists and production technicians; provide leadership to shift staff.
• Maintain shop organization and 5S with weekly audits.
• Provide effective pass-down status between shifts.
• Collaborate with production control to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with manufacturing engineering to improve production flow.
• Coordinate with quality to close nonconformities and move forward.
• Identify production roadblocks and escalate to appropriate teams.
• Enforce adherence to written production processes.
• Support continuous improvement projects and risk identification.
• Monitor and report department performance metrics.
