Leidos Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer for a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) at the Colorado Manufacturing Facility.

You will ensure machined components meet drawings and specs, support non-conformance tracking, and contribute to quality documentation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. The role requires AS9100/QMS experience, blueprint interpretation, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance and reliability of mission-critical defense

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or Master’s with 2+ years; DoD/AS9100 experience preferred.
• Experience with non-conforming materials, failure analysis, root-cause, and corrective actions.
• Experience writing work instructions and QMS documentation for AS9100 compliance.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics, CAD models, and contract quality requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsabilités

• Support QA for aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Develop inspection procedures and process plans; review nonconformance docs.
• Support root cause/corrective action and CAPAs.
• Review/approve drawings and process plans; perform inspections.
• Document nonconforming materials and coordinate MRB dispositions.
• Participate in internal quality audits and QA metrics collection.
