Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store in Indiana. You’ll support daily operations, coach a sales-driven team, and help ensure excellent customer service on weekends and holidays.

Expect to manage registers, assist customers, and drive upselling initiatives while maintaining a clean, safe store environment. A path to store management and career growth is available.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid license, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Comfort with cleaning, stocking, and maintaining outside areas around pumps.
• Minimum age 21+ years old.
• Proficient English communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store environment including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
