Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC seeks an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store. You’ll support the Store Manager, supervise a frontline team, and keep operations, cash handling, and merchandising running smoothly across shifts.

Open availability is required—weekends and holidays, with second or third shifts. You’ll drive customer service, upsell promotions, and help lead a fast-paced, growth-focused store.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning, trash, and outdoor duties.
• Minimum age of 18 years or older.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in retail leadership.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate excellence.
• Other duties as assigned
