Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy Indiana convenience store. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach a team, and step in as acting manager on off days.

Open availability, weekends/holidays, and second or third shifts are expected. We offer weekly pay, a monthly bonus, a 401(k), paid time off, health coverage, career growth, and a $1000 sign-on bonus after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: weekends and holidays, second or third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance for deposits.
• Physical readiness for cleaning and outdoor areas.
• Minimum age 21+.
• Proficient in English with basic math.
• Willing to learn and adapt.
• Food Safety Certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register, assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
