GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Village Pantry Store 5630 in Indiana. The role requires open weekend/holiday availability, a valid driver’s license, and physical readiness to maintain the store and pumps.

You will support the Store Manager, supervise cash handling, and lead a team focused on superior customer service. The position offers weekly pay, a potential monthly bonus, a 401(k) plan, PTO, health coverage options, and a $1000 sign-on bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle; proof of insurance for bank deposits.
• Comfortable with cleaning restrooms and outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum age 21+ years.
• Proficient in English with basic math.
• Willing to learn and grow in retail leadership.
• Must have (or obtain) Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock complete.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and oversaw store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
